Description: We are seeking an experienced candidate to develop, maintain, and update Web sites, assist in the production of multimedia presentations, and provide support for the electronic and published products of our Center for Communications and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
· Developing and maintaining Web sites, including, but not limited to, the company intranet, the corporate external Web site, and various Web sites for clients such as the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the National Cancer Institute.
· Serving as a 508 compliance resource
· Assisting in the development and production of a variety of electronic and published documents, including internal corporate communications, technical reports, and proposals
· Assisting in the development of multimedia presentations (including filming and editing videos)
· Assisting graphic designers with the creation of Web graphics, rollover buttons, and images
· Proactively collecting and posting announcements to the company Intranet
· Other duties, as assigned
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Macromedia Dreamweaver, HTML, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
· Basic understanding of Macromedia ColdFusion
· Experience developing and maintaining Web sites
· Experience developing menu libraries, page templates, and other organizational tools for Web development
· Knowledge of Web accessibility standards
· Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
· Detail oriented and strong organization skills
· Meeting project deadlines in a team-oriented environment
· Delivering exceptional customer service
Preferred:
· Experience developing multimedia presentations
· Knowledge of Macromedia Flash
