On or about November 20, 2007 all eligible entries received in each category will be read in a first round of judging by a professional recipe consultant based equally on: the written recipes' creativity, practicality, and category-adherence to select five (5) recipes ranked 1-5 in each Contest category ("Category Finalist"). Each recipe chosen and ranked #1 as a Category Finalist shall then be prepared and judged on taste (40%), creative appeal of prepared dish (20%), ease of preparation and practicality of preparation (20%), and adherence to category (20%).
