apparently i am COMPLETELY technologically incompetent and have NO idea how to get a song from a random cd onto my computer permanently so that later when i take out the cd, the song stays on the comp. i've just spent HOURS trying to do it.
so far i have succeeded at uploading 20 blank songs onto xrum. nice! i know. zu, my personal apologies.

Get a CD ripping proggie. You can't just drag the audio track from CD

CD ripping program? they sell that stuff at BestBuy and such?

1. open windows media player, insert cd, click rip

2. go to START>My Documents>My Music.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. EVEN IF RTFM does mean what Slava said - is it such a big friggin deal? I say that to half of my users and my Project Manager. They get it as a joke, not as a mean to offend them in any way. But w/e... take it as you see fit.
