Pandora radio is awesome though, u give an artist and it finds the songs on the radio and plays similar artists as well, and it's free. iRecommend

3g not so fast? that's a sucks. I was counting on it being wifi-like quick. Oh well, i'll still get it, as i already have a buyer for mine

I went to Apple store to get the new 8gig phone, but they were out of those when i got there, and only had 16gigs left, the apple boy told me they had 16 phones left, and the line had like 20people in it. lol
But i saw Dima at the counter, so i figured he got one.

1st gen phone can be updated to 2.0, and become pretty much the same as the 2nd gen, but no 3g just so we all clear on that.

Oh and screw Apple and screw Steve Jobs.

iphone sucks as a phone, but pretty much dominates in the portabe internet device, so alas, i needs it.

I love my iPhone, but since I d/l the 2.0 software for my 1st gen the call signal has been erratic. I'm not liking that. Hopefully when I get the 3G the problem will disappear...

Aurora Feint - very cool puzzle game. FREE
BoxOffice - Best movies app I've seen. Put in your zip code, you can have all theatres within a 5 mile radius automatically available for movie times and you can browse movies and see their tomatometer ratings and the brief consensus as well. FREE
Brain Challenge - FANTASTIC! This game is very fun, and somewhat challenging even. Even more so, it's addicting... $9.99
Facebook - Live chat feature, best thing about it. Also, it's fast. FREE
Moonlight Majhong - You can zoom in on the board and rotate it 360*, also different boards to choose from and very clean design. FREE
Scribble - paint-like application...can save designs to your phone. Limited in colors but still cool. FREE
SudokuFree - Simple, clean design. FREE

I also like the Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, but that's gotten mixed reviews on the controls ($9.99). You can turn the accelerometer sensitivity down and that's worked fine for me. I've gotten a recommendation to d/l Monkey Ball but the reviews I read were mixed on the controls for this one as well, though I'll probably end up d/l it anyway ($9.99 as well).

Signal is fine for me, but it keeps switching between 3G and Edge all the time so I don't really know where 3G is really usefull, u browse the net it's ege, email it's edge, and very rarely does it actually utilize 3G so I think it's a bit of a rip off if you ask me

I called Apple store yesterday at 9:20am, and they told me they have all models in stock.
When i got there at 10am, 8gig was already sold out.
Gotta come early i guess.

Dima thanks for the heads up on 3G coverage, deff. sounds like a rip off, since the new data plan is 10$ more per month.

Yah, there seemed to be a pretty big line. I got mine on Friday last week but I had some problems with it so I went to MM before work to figure some things out and get a case for it as well. It's a great little gadget and definitely addictive. Good luck to all who want to get one and have fun with it.

I went 10 minutes before noon. There were 5 people ahead of me. 30 minutes later there were probably 30 people behind me. I was in and out of the apple store in an hour and also got a ticket to replace my old phone with a new one.

I looooove the phone. The sound quality is much improved. I have 3G everywhere...and it's very fast...I don't know what you mean so far. The signal is also so far, so good.

I took the screen protector off of my old phone and am using the same case. This phone is definitely protected from the get-go! I did it with my old iPhone and it still doesn't have a scratch on it after a year of use. And multiple falls.
