The Denver Post's Web site said that federal authorities have scheduled a Tuesday news conference concerning an Aurora, Colo., traffic stop that may have disrupted an assassination attempt against Barack Obama.

The site gave this account from KUSA-TV:

Tharin Gartrell, 28, and another man were arrested Sunday on weapons charges after the traffic stop. Gartrell was arrested after police found two rifles, a high-powered scope and methamphetamine in his car.

At Gartrell's hotel, the second man was arrested.

Ok ladies and gents!

I just started my new job, which means I have my own lil office. Boy, is it ugly and sterile! Typical room in an old building. I wanna make it therapeutic...so that the kids I work with are feeling cozy and comfortable. I need donations!!!!

This is what I need:

-puzzle games
-stress balls
-coloring books
-artsey books
-arts and crafts stuff
-old board games/card games

Basically, i wanna set it up so that they have stuff to play with and draw on....especially when they're pissed. Im not about to go buy a bunch of toys or puzzles.....so yeah, donate your old stuff !!!!!!

so...i finally got a new laptop...it came with VISTA

i burned some MP3 files on a CD.....(not a MUSIC cd)....and concidently my car MP3 player (factory Scion TC) won't play it.....(ried it twice)
i definately know the files copied over b/c i'm listening to them at work

now i burned the same files onto another CD using the old computer and it worked....

is there some kind of compatibility issue using VISTA?
has anyone had that problem before?

I think Tanya started this in another thread, but how about we all share what we remember from Tartufo days. Good, bad and the ugly! :-)

I remember drinking long islands outside with nobody telling you to come back inside with a drink.

Getting pulled over right as I left Tartufo parking lot (cut off a cop). I started suckin on a penny, cause someone in the car told me that copper will error the breathalizer. I just got off with running a red light ticket.

There is a lot more stories but I guess I share lata.
